The fully catered Lodge accommodates up to 8 people comfortably. Self-catering services are also available for those who prefer to cater for themselves.
 
The Buitendags do not cater for fly fishermen only, and those interested in other outdoor activities such as Horse Trials, Mountain Hikes and River Rafting will find this the perfect place to be. Stunning Bushman paintings are also viewable only a short hike away from the lodge.

 

During the winter, the Tiffendell ski-resort is a mere 50km away from the farm. For the hunters and fishermen, the McNab can be found right on your doorstep. Partridge & Ribbuck hunting is rivalled only by the wild rainbow trout found in the cool, clear water of the lower Bell river.

Steepside now also offers a campsite for the more adventurous folk. The campsite has an ablution block that sports toilets, warm-water showers and washing basins.
